Solechemical Inc. is a green coating technology company carrying forward a heritage that began in 1983 with the domestic development of fluoropolymer coating technology in Korea. Led by third-generation CEO KEUM, Mi Seon, who continues the path set by her maternal grandfather and father, Solechemical is a women-led business based in Gyeonggi Province. Built on deep expertise in surface performance gained since the fluoropolymer era, we develop PFAS-alternative and high-performance surface solutions across industries.
Backed by in-house capability from raw-material synthesis to finished coatings, our coatings deliver functional surface properties such as non-stick and release performance, chemical resistance and heat resistance, with abrasion and weather resistance in active development, across metals, glass, plastics and other substrates. We build every solution around the substrate, operating environment, manufacturing process and target performance each customer requires.

CEO KEUM, Mi Seon leads Solechemical in carrying coating know-how handed down through three generations into PFAS-alternative surface technology. The company measures itself by three standards: technology that proves itself on the customer's line, performance backed by documented evidence, and partnerships built for the long term.

Our R&D connects raw-material and composition science with formulation optimization, metal pretreatment and coating process know-how, and application-specific tuning of heat resistance, chemical resistance, hardness and release.
In 2026, we opened an advanced materials research lab in the Green Convergence Cluster, broadening the foundation for our eco-friendly advanced materials research.
